DNC Leaked Emails Edited?

The leaked emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) were published by Wikileaks in July of 2016. As of this post, they've been public at least sixteen months. The revelation caused immense turmoil within the organization.

Some people maintain the emails were hacked by Russia while others suggest the emails were leaked from within the DNC.

A Previous post here at Empire Dusk suggests the possible players involved in leaking the emails.

Meanwhile, in all this time, no one disputed the authenticity of the emails, either directly, or implied through behavior. No one suggested the emails may have been edited or otherwise modified, until Donna Brazile revealed her new book in a post on POLITICO.

Now, amid the clarion call that it's Russia, Russia, Russia, after sixteen months of scrutiny and exposure, it's being suggested that the emails were edited.

Whether or not the Russians or anyone else hacked or leaked the emails, didn't change the facts of the emails, and the facts of the emails are apparently authentic enough to have resulted in the changes of leadership at the DNC. Despite the Associated Press' (AP) sychophantic report.

Question: Since Imran Awan was arrested for bank fraud, would such allegations lead to the logical conclusion that he had access to, and sold the leaked Podesta emails to Guccifer 2.0, who then forwarded the data to Wikileaks?

Question: Would Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the DNC scapegoat Russia to distract from this scandal?

The Russian Job

Respect and credibility are earned, not entitled. I don't know why the main-steam media keeps repeating the insinuation that Russia may have had something to do with Hillary losing the election before all the facts are in.

As of this writing, the evidence still has yet to be delivered to the President, Congress and the President-Elect by the Intelligence agencies, yet every day since the election, the main-stream media keeps repeating the mantra "Russia's manipulation of U.S. elections" despite a complete lack of evidence.

They didn't have evidence of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in Iraq either. They eventually made up a completely false story about Iraq purchasing Yellow Cake Uranium. When the false story was exposed by Joe Wilson, operatives in the main-stream media outed his wife as an intelligence agent, putting her life in danger. The main-stream media operative walked away without a scratch when he should have been tried for treason.

Now it looks like they're playing the same old game, trying to foment a new cold war. Why? There's a ton of money to be made.

The subterfuge in the media is designed to make you shake your head and throw your hands up, or at least shrug it off as something not to be bothered by. Must we have more senseless bloodshed?

It appears the DNC and the RNC are united with each-other, against the people. Power To The People!

It sure looks like the Establishment has pulled a huge one. A complete political party sabotage to lock in the Establishment's power for decades to come may have happened before but we weren't taught about it in public school.

Bernie Sanders has made up my mind. Unless someone new steps in, or something truly dark from Bernie's past rears its ugly head, there really is no reason for me to follow presidential politics anymore.

The era of politics as a popularity contest is drawing to a close. Before the Internet, candidates had the luxury of compartmentalizing and keeping separate, audiences based on social values. It made campaign speech writing much easier. It also made it easy to keep the people fighting among themselves.

Social values such as abortion, gun control, religion in public schools, political correctness, and so on, are all in the tool chest of political power, designed to keep the public from unifying long enough for the Capitalists to create a fascist plutocracy. President Lyndon Johnson was well aware of this strategy

Are you in the Democracy Club?

Edie Miller’s letter Wednesday in the Illinois State Journal Register about the ERC (Evening Republican Club) is perfectly, horribly typical of most organizations.

Let’s say that you consider yourself a Republican, a Democrat, Green, or Whatever. You join a local club because the other members most likely will understand you. You discover, quite by accident because someone slipped their tongue, that your club has a secret board of directors with special privileges.

Members of this mysterious board of directors often talk about their extravagant vacations, dress better than other members, have more expensive cars, or other things that the rest of the club members can only dream about.

No one else is allowed to join the Board of Directors, but the club members continue to pay their dues. They can’t stop paying their dues because they would be accused of being disloyal or “unpatriotic.”

Most of the club members either don’t realize or don’t care that they are being deliberately excluded from the luxurious benefits of the dues and profits from fundraiser for the very club to which they belong.

If you complain to the board, they would probably look askance at you and say “So start your own club. Pull yourself up by your own boot-straps.”

It fits into the definition of Fiefdom, but we’ve been pretending for the last two centuries or so that it’s a Democracy. Dream the American Dream!
